After graduating GNS, I attended Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts. After college, I went to Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in NYC. My wife and best buddy, Lauren Thaler, and I met in college, married in 1981 and remained in NYC together for several years after I graduated law school. Just before our first child was born, we moved to Westchester County.

I am a partner at Cuddy & Feder LLP, a law firm located in White Plains, New York and have been its Managing Partner since 1999. I live in Briarcliff Manor, New York. We have two children. Danielle graduated George Washington University and married Yaniv Ben David in 2006.

Evan is a second-year student at Hampshire College, the school that Lauren and I graduated from, so it is a pretty amazing experience for Evan to be part of this history. Evan is very dedicated to sustainable living and making the environment a better place for all.

My mom lives in Hilton Head, South Carolina and is doing well. My dad passed away in 2000.

In addition to my professional work, I serve on several not-for-profit boards. I am past-President of the Westchester Chapter of Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Lauren and I both have been active with JDRF since 1997 when Danielle was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. I also am on the Boards of Gilda's Club Westchester, White Plains Hospital Center, and White Plains Bridge of Friendship Foundation, Inc. In my spare time, I enjoy socializing with family and friends, exercising, cooking, photography, reading, hiking, bicycling, and snowboarding.

In the next 10 years, I hope research will enable the world to find a cure for diabetes, cancer and other diseases. On the more selfish level, I hope to travel more with Lauren and to continue to enjoy being with family and friends.

Seeing so many of you at Gino's for the collective 50th was great fun. It was special getting back in touch with so many of you. Thanks again, George.

Lauren and I have wonderful news to report. Our daughter and son-in-law, Danielle & Yaniv Ben David, gave birth to a son on August 31, 2010. His name is Eden Shalom Ben David and we are thrilled! I have attached photos of the proud parents and our grandson, Eden and another showing all of us together (but missing our son, Evan - the new uncle). What an amazing phase of life to be starting.
