In 1980 I was living in the Village and going to N.Y.U. graduate school.There I received a Masters in Rehabilitaion Counseling.I met my husband Glenn that same year on a blind date set up by mutual friends. We will celebrate our 23rd anniversary this coming July.(There was a prior brief short marriage not worth discussing.)We have two great chidren:Carly, who will be 20 in June and is finishing her sophmore year at SUNY Binghamton, and Jed, who is 17, in his junior year in high school. He wants to go south to college to escape Albany weather.

I have worked as a Sales Manager for a national company,Concentra,for the past 10 years. I market case management services to insurance companies and private businesses.My husband is co-owner of a travel agency.

I am thrilled to still have both parents. My dad will be 83 next week and continues to work in the family business that my brother took over. My mom is 75. They still live in the house on Lake Rd. where I grew up.

We have lived in Albany since 1981 and I have no regets about leaving the Island. I do confess I miss the city and may return one day.
