Tom Maslow & myself at the 50th Birthday Bash 2004

After two years at Stony Brook, I transferred to George Washington in DC where I received both my undergrad and graduate degrees. During that time I met my husband Michael. I spent a total of eight years in DC before moving to Los Angeles. In LA I worked for an import company, eventually starting my own consulting firm.
Then came kids. Kayden, our son is now 17 and Kim our daughter just turned 15.
In 1996 we decided that LA was not the place we wanted to raise kids, so Mike sold his practice, and to the astonishment of everyone (including me) we moved to a small town on the Western Slope of Colorado. Four hours from Denver (Mike's home town) and two hours from Vail. Needless to say we ski and snowboard, hike, bike, ride horses and do all that outdoorsy stuff. I still play quite a bit of golf (the courses here are beautiful). I am currently the division director for the March of Dimes.
2011 update - still in Colorado with frequent trips to DC where I am CEO of new tech start up. I will be moving there soon. Until then I do development for a local non profit.
