	Me & Jay Florida Mini 2/04

Hi everyone! I graduated from Long Island Univ. at CW Post with a BS in medical biology with a specialty in medical technology. Worked at Glen Cove Comm. Hospital for a year, and then moved to Florida in Jan 1979. I am a medical technologist, and also went on to obtain my clinical lab supervisors license in Hematology, Immunology, Chemistry, Serology, and Microbiology. I have taught immunohematology at FLA Atlantic Univ., and hematolgy at Palm Beach Comm College, and the HIV/Hepatitis classes to the Palm Beach County Sherrif's Dept. I also obtained my RN license, and worked as a cardiac critical care RN.
I am married for 8 years, no children of our own, but I have 2 step-sons, 1 step-daughter, and 3 step-granddaughters from my previous marriage.
We have 4 doggie-children, a german shepherd, 2 Belgian Malinois, and an old hound. I love all animals-my hobbies and interests are fighting for animal welfare rights, and being very involved politically with the Sierra Club,PETA, The Humane Society, Planned Parenthood, and the Democratic Party. I love reading, swimming, snorkeling, hiking, gardening, bird-watching, cooking, and oenology. ( love those food and wine tastings!! )
