I am currently employed in Newport,NH as the assistant principal responsible for the middle school which is part of a high school and vocational school. I supervise thirty adults and 325 students grades 6-8.
I have been happily married and spoiled rotten by the same man for the last 23 years! I moved to NH in 1976. I met my husband, Rick Stewart in 1978 and we married in 1980. We have three children; Emily(21),is studying communications at Evergreen College in San Jose,CA ; Adam(19)is a music education major Elon University in NC, Amy(17)is a senior at Tilton School(the private boarding school where we have lived and where my husband Rick has worked for the last 14 years). Adolescents are our life, they keep us young and for the most part, laughing. As a family, we have been through significant trauma: cancer, depression,ITP, near drowning, a cerebral hemorrhage and seven brain surgeries. The good news is that we have survived it all and we have learned life is precious. We try to remember to stay focused on the LOVE in our lives and to put people before the stuff. My motto is to Live, Love and Laugh. I am still singing, practicing yoga, sharing Reiki, and stretching my brain by traveling every chance I get. For my 49th bithday last week, we went to NYC and saw Turandot at the NYC Opera :-) and visited the Rose Center for Earth and Space. It was fabulous!!! Hugs to all of you.
