I received my BS in Geology from SUNY Brockport in 1976, then my MS in Geology from the University of Akron, Ohio, in 1978. Moved to Denver in 1978 where I have lived since, except for a short term in Annapolis, MD, from 1992-1994 (when I worked in DC). From 1978 through 1996 I worked for the U.S. Bureau of Mines, then from 1997 till present with the U.S. Minerals Management Service (MMS), both agencies of the Department of Interior. I currently market and sell crude oil for the MMS, primarily filling the country's Strategic Petroleum Reserves.
I am divorced, no children of my own, but 2 adult step-daughters who I helped raise and am very close with. I have recently brought a new dog (a lab/golden retriever mix) into my life.
Life has been very good to me...........
