After high school I left New York never to return. I attended Trinity College in Hartford then went on to dental school at the University of Pennsylvania where I met my wife, Fran, another Penn dental student. After completing a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery in Pittsburgh, we settled in Voorhees, New Jersey where I am in private practice. I also teach at the University of Pennsylvania part-time. Fran and I have been happily married for almost 30 years.
We have three children, Caroline Chad, and Carl. Caroline lives and works in Philadelphia, Chad is a dental student at BU (carrying on the family tradition) and Carl is a freshman at Vanderbilt University. We are finally empty nesters!
Now that I have joined the over 55 crowd I am starting to look forward to retirement, hopefully within the next ten years.
