Hello,

Let's see if I can summarize 35 years into this space.

After leaving Great Neck in 1972 to attend SUNY Albany. I had a wonderful football and academic experience. I graduated in 1976 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.I Met my wife Mary in class at SUNY.We were married in June 1975 and In September of 1976 our first child Latasha was born. We purchased our first home on Troy New York. After Graduating from SUNY I started working for Sterling Winthrop in Rensselaer NY as an auditor. I worked for Sterling for approximately five year after which I started with The Grand Union Company working in management and accounting until 1986. In 1986 I started Gardner Business Services an Accounting and Consulting firm that services small business, not-for profits and government agencies. Today I run the firm with my daughter or should I say my boss Latasha.
During this period I served on several not for prift boards. I got involved with Parsons Children and family services. As a result of this work Mary and I adopted four children over a seven year period. In March of 2006 we were blessed with the opportunity to have three of our five grand children come live with us.Twin Girls 2 and a very active 4 year old grandson that is driving me crazy. Talking about a life changing event after we thought this chapter was over.
So the thirty five year story is between my business, the children and marriage.
